Design as a strategic driver of innovation
As a strategic designer I specialize in the fuzzy front end of innovation to create valuable and meaningful products, services and processes for people and organizations.
My approach to improving products, services and processes is by integrating people, business and technology aspects of innovation. In my experience, addressing the people aspects of innovation is a valuable skill that I bring as a designer and very relevant in today’s digital transformation challenges in organizations. Looking at all touchpoints throughout user experiences beyond digital channels and understanding innovation's impact in people’s lives can lead to much more valuable and meaningful solutions.
I bring this "designerly" approach that focuses on collaboration, empathy and vision to all projects I work in. I am very passionate about innovation and people, and the impact of design in creating meaningful solutions. I enjoy working with different kinds of people and facilitating hands-on creative processes to motivate and inspire. At the same time I am a self-driven person, taking on new challenges to keep on learning.
Through my work and studies I have been developing abilities and knowledge in three areas where design creates strategic value for organizations and very relevant in the transformation challenges they face today: value-centeredness, product-service systems and change/transformation.
Empathizing value from the different perspectives of multiple actors in an innovation context to create both meaningful and commercially valuable innovation.
Modelling integrated solutions and their multiple touchpoints throughout both the customer journey and the operational processes required to deliver them.
Co-creating value propositions with stakeholders to lead dynamic change and innovation processes in organizations.
